Recent studies show that over 99% of American women remove hair voluntarily. And with the pressure society gives that body hair isn't seen as "ladylike," the Ladylike women decided to challenge that by growing out their body hair for a month and celebrating with a boudoir photoshoot after:

Chantel and Devin had been shaving for awhile. While Kristin got away with not shaving her legs as often...
...but when it came to her armpits? She did not play.
All the ladies were a little nervous because it was a complete 360 lifestyle change.
By week one, some had already cheated.
While others were letting it all grow out.
Towards the end of the month, the ladies learned how to master the art of scratching more private areas subtly.
And realized that other people did not give two shits about their body hair...
...which helped them embrace it even more.
Before their boudoir photoshoot the ladies decided to speak to Kuwilileni and Maggie (BuzzFeed Producers) on why they kept their body hair...
...giving the ladies clarity and confidence the day of shoot.
They hoped to challenge the norm and redefine societies definition of beauty by making it more diverse.
And they definitely did that.
By the end of the month, they all recognized that removing your body was optional.
So, lady tested? Lady do whatever the hell you want and feel beautiful doing it, because you are!
