When you think of LA's gay scene, you probably think of hot, muscled-bound guys with bodies that can rip through metal like paper, but this hilarious new web series called "Where The Bears Are," which is filmed entirely in and around LA's hip Silver Lake neighborhood, is going to change your perception of what you think it is to be gay in LA. And they're gonna make you laugh out loud while they're at it.
This new web series is based on a group of three gay bear roommates who find a dead guy in their bathtub after a hard night of partying. No one knows how he got there, and what happens in the next 25 four-minute episodes is some funny murder mystery shit! Think "Golden Girls" meets "Murder, She Wrote" (after all, the writer for the show used to write for Blanche and the girls).
Where The Bears Are will take you around LA's hipster neighborhood Silver Lake, so you won't find any glittery West Hollywood types strutting around these streets. Instead, you'll get plenty of furry manimal action, so all you bear chasers will definitely get your fix watching these guys parade the streets.
