KAYELYN LOUDER DISAPPEARS BAREFOOT IN THE RAIN

Nearly 10 years after Alabama teenager Natalee Holloway’s disappearance in Aruba, friends of Natalee speak out in support of a missing Utah woman Kayelyn Louder.

Nearly 10 years after Alabama teenager Natalee Holloway's disappearance in Aruba, friends of Natalee, along with the Natalee Holloway Resource Center, speak out in support of a missing Utah woman, Kayelyn Louder.

Considering Kayelyn and Natalee's similarity in age and the mystery surrounding their disappearances, Natalee's friends, Mallie and Claire, can't help but feel a connection to Kayelyn's case and are doing what they can to help.

Kayelyn has been missing for more than six weeks. She was seen on a surveillance camera running from her condo in Murray, Utah, on Sept. 27th around 6pm. It was a cold, rainy night and she was barefoot, wearing nothing but a tank top and shorts. She left behind her car, money, purse, phone, and most alarmingly, her dog Phyllis who she rarely left for longer than a few hours at a time. Sometime after 6pm, condo residents spotted Kayelyn frantically trying to open gates to other condos, and crouching behind cars as if trying to hide. There has been no trace of her since.

Kayelyn had phoned 911 a total of three times in 24 hours prior to her disappearance. The final call to 911 was made the morning of her disappearance; she believed there was an intruder in her home and was concerned for her safety. All of this behavior is NOT typical for Kayelyn. She has no history of mental illness, and no reason to leave behind everything and everyone she loves.

Private investigators say that at this point, they cannot rule out foul play. Local police are making efforts, but after 6 weeks we feel we are no closer to bringing her home. We need your help! Please cover this story and help bring her home. Kayelyn is bighearted, fun, educated, and loved by all who know her. She chose to be a social worker because of her compassion and love for people. Now thousands of people are showing their compassion and love for her. The Facebook group, Find Kayelyn Louder, is 3,000 members strong and growing every day. There is a $5,000 reward for any information that leads directly to her location or return. Any tips should go to the Tipline at 866.660.4025 or Muray Police Dept. at 801.840.4000. Surveillance footage and 911 calls are available for use by media.
