Here's How 24 "Game Of Thrones" Fans Think The Show Will End

"Pod gets the throne. And the ladies."

We asked the BuzzFeed Community to tell us how they think Game of Thrones will end on Sunday. Here are their predictions!

    1. Tormund tries one more time to get with Brienne.

    2. Arya and Gendry rule the Stormlands together.

Epilogue: Bran’s wheelchair is found empty in the Godswood. A three-eyed raven perches on the weirwood tree as the first buds appear. It is spring. Sansa took the Iron Throne, only to dismantle Westeros into the Seven Kingdoms. Sansa rules the North, with Tyrion by her side. Sam rules the Reach (with Gilly, Little Sam and baby Lyanna). The Stormlands is ruled by an unconventional warrior Queen and the husband who showed her that love is worth fighting for. The End.

    3. Winter isn't over just yet.

Dany dies while riding a dragon, mainly because she has lost focus and is "going mad." Jon ends up on the throne, even though he doesn't want it. It's like they said last episode: the kingdom will pick their ruler, and they all respect Jon. Plus, he's a stronger leader. Dany is just strong due to her dragon, which Jon also has the ability to control. Sansa will be the queen of the north with Tyrion at her side. Lastly, I don't think we have seen the last of winter because they never showed the purpose of the babies who were sacrificed.

    4. The Small Council rules Westeros.

Small Council rule. If Dany is still alive at the end, maybe all of the "bend the knee" and "I am your queen" stuff is leading her to accept that, to break the wheel, she needs to destroy it entirely — Iron Throne included. If not, she'll end up as another Cersei, and no one person should have all that power. That, or she dies and a Small Council is formed anyway since Jon doesn't want to be king.

    5. Sansa takes the throne.

    6. Daenerys wins...

Dany will be sitting on the Iron Throne with dead bodies and blood everywhere, Drogon roaring beside her. The Mad Queen.

    7. ...but at a cost.

Dany will win the throne but at a huge cost: King's Landing will be in ruins, with barely any survivors. She has finally got what she believes is her “destiny,” but it is soon pointed out by Tyrion that it wasn’t worth it. She has no dragons, no people who believe or support her as the queen, no Jon (he will either be killed in the war or killed by her in a moment of madness), no Missandei, no Dothraki, no Unsullied, and not even a standing throne room. She will realize there is more to life than the throne, but it’s too late.

    8. No one ends up on the throne.

I don't think anyone will sit on the Iron Throne. I think that the Iron Throne will be destroyed either by accident or on purpose because it symbolizes so much. I feel like the idea of a king/queen will be forgotten, and some main characters might even rule together as a democracy.

    9. We find out that the whole show has been from Sam's POV.

    10. Everyone's stuck in a time loop.

The Night King isn't dead. It's a vicious time cycle. A Stark is destined to always roam the Earth as a "Night King". One thousand years ago, the world would have looked remarkably the same, with no vast technological advancements. The Children of the Forest would have known dragon glass could kill the White Walkers, because they used to create them... and the idea old Nan's story of how they were driven back... preposterous. When did we see the White Walkers retreat ever? They never went back behind The Wall. The leader was defeated, then reborn again on the other side...

    11. Podrick wins it all.

Pod gets the throne. And the ladies.

    12. Jon reluctantly ends up ruling.

    13. Or maybe Tyrion ends up as king??

Jon will become the new Night King. Tyrion will find out he’s a Targaryan and end up on the Iron Throne, which will make Sansa the queen, since they’re still married (technically).

    14. It was all a dream.

The entire series was a dream Bran dreamed up during a coma after Jamie pushed him out the window

    15. Ghost exacts revenge.

    16. Sam and Gilly could rule?

If Jon becomes king, he could give the title to Sam, and serve as hand to the king, just as Ned did. Sam is intelligent and fair, and I think him, Gilly, and their children could start over and unite what’s left of Westeros.

    17. The Seven Kingdoms are ruled independently.

I was theorizing with my friend the other day that there won’t actually be a single ruler of the Seven Kingdoms. I think it will end up that each realm will have its own leader, and the seven leaders will work together to maintain peace and prosperity.

I still strongly believe Jon will have to kill Dany, because she loses her mind. But after that, I can see him deciding to live North of the Wall as King of the Free Folk. Sansa could be Queen of the North at Winterfell. Gendry could rule the Stormlands, and as far as King’s Landing is concerned... Tyrion could do well. I feel it’s ‘bittersweet’ in that people survive, there could be peace and it’s a relatively happy ending, but everyone will have to part ways (and of course Jon will be pretty devastated having to watch another love die).

    18. Tyrion finally tells his joke.

It ends with Tyrion relaxing at his vineyard, toasting with The Imp’s Delight, and FINALLY finishing his joke (or more likely the show will abruptly end right before the punch line).

    19. We get more dragons, eventually.

    20. Tyrion and Sansa rule together.

OK, I think Tyrion and Sansa would make a good team, so they should get married and rule together, with Ser Brienne as the commander of the armies, Ser Davos the Hand of the King/Queen and Aegon Targaryan/Jon Snow as the Warden of the North. I liked Dany but I’m not sure she’s going to make it... I think Arya will live her life as she sees fit, maybe she will take over a house somewhere and lead it.

    21. Gendry rules, and Tyrion becomes his Hand.

In my interpretation, Jon and Daenerys are clear foils to Rhaegar and Lyanna before them: a forbidden romance that starts a war, which neither half of the couple survive.

    - Jon will die trying to protect the Dany, and Dany and her dragons will all die, thus completing the mage’s prophecy from Season 1.

    - Bran will go and live in a tree and be the Three-Eyed Raven.

    - and Tyrion will be Gendry's Hand of the King. He will survive the song of ice and fire and be the last remaining Lannister. It's ironic that Tywin always wanted them to be the perfect family, pure and beautiful, and that the last one left is Tyrion, who was always shunned and hated by his family. He will guide Gendry to be a good and wise ruler

    - And that, my friends, is the song of ice and fire.

    22. The remaining Stark siblings take over.

Sansa as queen, with Arya as her hand. Bran the advisor. All other big names perished.

    23. Jon returns to rule the freefolk.

So I think Jon is going to go back to the North. I don't think he's going to rule Winterfell, though. Since there's not much point in the Night's Watch if the White Walkers are truly gone, I think that Jon is going to become "king" of the free folk, like Mance Rayder.

I think Sansa would choose to stay in the North if it were up to her. The Seven Kingdoms will probably break up into separate kingdoms, and Sansa will rule the North. If the Seven Kingdoms/any amount of them DO remain united under one ruler, I don't think it's going to be Dany. I think she's going to die, and Gendry will become king. Since he's been legitimized and is recognized as Robert Baratheon's son, he has a claim. He also told Arya that he has no idea what he is going, so he's going to listen to his council, and I feel like it'll be made up of Tyrion, Bran, Arya, Davos, and a few others. He and Arya might even get married! She wouldn't be a lady! She'd be a queen!

    24. Or quite possibly: everyone dies.
