The FBI Tweeted A Loving Farewell To Burt Macklin From "Parks And Rec"

Even the Feds are upset about losing that magnificent son of a b*tch.

Fans of the dearly departed comedy series Parks And Recreation will be very familiar with the work of one FBI agent Burt Macklin.

He's the alter ego of hunky office goofball Andy Dwyer (Chris Pratt), who has been called upon to solve various Pawnee mysteries and misdemeanours over the years.

Well, the FBI tweeted this lovely tribute to Macklin's career after the series finale of Parks And Rec this week.

Your ways were unconventional, but you'll be missed Macklin. #ParksFarewell To learn about a real FBI career, visit http://t.co/HIYV9b74KC.

Ok, so it was mainly used as a recruitment tool, but the sentiment is appreciated. And hey, maybe it will attract the next generation of real life Macklins.

Because our crazy world will always need some Burt Macklin.
