Two trucks crashed along a stretch of highway near the town of Coachella in California on Monday, and in the resulting fire, frozen chicken was barbecued.

The crash made quite a mess, closing several lanes of traffic.

The Desert Sun reports that one truck was carrying over 11 tonnes of frozen chickens, while the other one was transporting crates of bees.

While both drivers weren't seriously injured, the same couldn't be said for the bees, sadly.
Some of the remaining bees were slowly dying. Officials said smoke from the fire helped @MyDesert
