What you need: A stump, some nails, a hammer, zero common sense and at least one brave friend.

How it works: Players take turns spinning and catching a hammer and then trying to hit nails into an old stump in order to assign drinks to other players.

Most likely outcome: A few bruised toes and a healthy fear of tools

What you need: A table, a quarter, and two teams

How it works: Team 1 passes the quarter to each other under the table until Team 2 shouts "Up Chickens, Down Chickens," at which point Team 1 slams their hands down on the table. If Team 2 correctly identifies (through elimination) which hand holds the quarter then Team 1 drinks. If they guess wrong Team 2 drinks.

Most likely outcome: TONS OF FUN, until Kevin drops the quarter and it rolls into the air vent. Good job, Kevin.

9. Baseball

What you need: Two teams, beer, cups, ping pong balls and patience. This game is a marathon, not a sprint.

How it works: Teams take turn being "at bat" and attempting to throw a ping pong ball into beer filled cups. The cups are worth either a single/double/triple or home run which the fielding team then drinks. After three "outs" the other team is at bat. You play 9 innings, and there's also this whole "base stealing" element that makes things a little crazier (just like real baseball).

Most likely outcome: Lots of bad Harry Caray impressions, and constantly forgetting the score.

What you need: A deck of cards, friends

How it works: Players go around the circle trying to guess things about the next card. Correct answers allow them to assign drinks, incorrect answers force them to take drinks. Each round the difficulty and number of drinks given/taken increases.

Most likely outcome: Everybody decides it would be funny to assign all their drinks to one person. COOL GUYS, THNX.

7. Dizzy Bat

What you need: A whiffle ball bat, a can of beer, a soft playing surface (i.e. grass or sand)

How it works: Drill a hole in the business end of the whiffle ball bat and fill it with a beer. A player then drinks the beer out of the bat while spectators count off the seconds it takes for them to finish. After finishing, the player must then put their forehead on the end of the bat and spin around for the same length of time it took them to drink the beer. Another player then tosses the empty beer can to the dizzy player who must attempt to hit it with the bat.

Most likely outcome: Laughter and a face full of sand

6. Kings (aka Ring of Fire, Circle of Death, King's Cup)

What you need: A deck of cards and a can of beer

How it works: Everyone seems to have their own variation, but each card represents a different rule. Cards are fanned out face down around the can of beer and players take turns choosing a card and completing that rule. Used cards are then placed inside the tab of the beer can, and whoever is first to crack the beer loses and must finish the drink.

Most likely outcome: Chaos caused by constantly changing Question Masters, new Kings, "Never Have I Evers" and Waterfalls.

5. Asshole

What you need: Cards and a ridiculous hat or empty beer box

How it works: Cards are distributed evenly to the players, who then race to be the first one to get rid of all their cards, making them "President" for the next round. The last person with cards spends the next round as the "Asshole" and must wear the hat/beer box as punishment. There are other perks/consequences of being named President/Asshole, but rules about them tend to vary.

Most likely outcome: Shame.

4. (Survivor) Flip Cup

What you need: Cups, two teams and a table

How it works: Each player stands on their team's side of the table and pours some beer into a solo cup. Players then race to be the first team, one player at a time, to drink their beer and flip their cup upside down on the table. Survivor Rules: Whichever team loses must vote a player off their team, but in the next round must still drink and flip the same number of cups as the other team. This continues until a team is eliminated or death. (mostly JK about the death!)

Most likely outcome: Death.

3. Cheers to the Governor

What you need: Friends! That's it!

How it works: Players go around in a circle and count to 21. Whoever lands on 21 is the "governor" and other players cheers them while they make a new rule. It sounds simple, but gets confusing when you have to remember that 8 doesn't exist, there are multiple 15s, odd numbers take a drink and all evens must be said in Spanish. Note: Also as a beginning rule, 7 and 14 are switched.

Most likely outcome: British accents and pandemonium.

What you need: 100 cups, a lot of beer, ping pong balls and a healthy fear of the real world.

How it works: It's just like regular beer pong, but with 100-120 cups. Just add a few more people to each team and a lot more beer to the fridge and get throwing.

Most likely outcome: Waking up the next morning to see you and your friends only made it through 73 cups.

What you need: A pizza box, a marker, a quarter and a diaper

How it works: Players take turns flipping a quarter onto the box. Wherever it lands they write a rule, and any player who lands on that rule must then comply with it. This game escalates quickly if your friends are jerks, creative or just like to watch the world burn.

Most likely outcome: A healthy amount of crying, a bunch of eating or drinking gross things and a vow never to play again.

What you need: Teams, bags of wine and a yellow shirt

How it works: Teams make it through the 21 "stages" of the Tour de Franzia by drinking various amounts from their bag of wine. Whichever team is leading after each stage wears the coveted yellow shirt. Just like the Tour de France, it's a race to the finish.

Most likely outcome: Purple mouths and a terrible hangover.
