A Little Boy Was Driven Around By His Furry Best Friend

    This is too cute.

There's nothing better than going for a Sunday drive with your best buddy in an open-top, red convertible as you speed down the road and feel the wind in your hair -- or fur.

Meet Daisy, a 6-year-old Maltese Chihuahua mix, and her 14-month-old human friend Oliver, who live in Lake Forest, California.

The pair, along with 5-year-old Chihuahua Donald, are practically inseparable. In fact, Oliver's first word was "dog," his mom Jessica Wolf told BuzzFeed News.

But on Wednesday, Jessica was stunned when she saw Daisy scramble to the front seat of her son's toy car and put her paws on the wheel. Naturally, she grabbed her phone and started filming.

The car, Wolf explained, can be operated by both the wheel and a remote control which Jessica held on to.

As Daisy steered the car left, Jessica would then correct it to the right, before Daisy took the wheel once more.

That's some seriously good driving, Miss Daisy! 🚗🐶👶

Jessica said Oliver at first appeared confused that his furry friend was suddenly acting as his chauffeur, but eventually just went with it, even petting her a few times to show his approval. "He lets her run the show most of the time," she said.

"Daisy is Oliver's best friend," Jessica said. "She just loves him and wants to be with him all the time, and he feels the same way."
