The Red Dead Redemption PC Version Might Finally Come

Have you been waiting for the Red Dead Redemption PC version? After a long waiting we may surprisingly see the game extended for further platforms. At the moment the game is limited to consoles such as Xbox 360 and Playstation 4.

    About Red Dead Redemption

Rockstar Games, publishers of the Grand Theft Auto franchise, released Red Dead Redemption on May 18, 2010 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The game was developed by Rockstar San Diego and is the second title in the Red Dead game series, a spiritual successor to Red Dead Revolver.

The game focuses on protagonist John Marston, an ex-outlaw who is attempting to rescue his wife and son who were taken by the government. They have requested his services as a bounty hunter in order to have his family returned. Reluctantly, Marston agrees to bring the remaining members of his former gang to his family's captors.

The game is presented in a third-person perspective in which the player explores a fully open-world environment. Players get around the Western-themed world either on foot or horseback. When enemies are found, Marston can implement a skill called "Dead Eye". This effect is more or less just a slow motion mode that allows the player to shoot in quick succession with great accuracy. A morality system is in place that determines how the NPCs view Marston. If he behaves well, he has high morals but if he does villainous acts, the opposite will be true. A multiplayer mode is also in place; both co-op and competitive modes are available up to sixteen players.

Red Dead Redemption was heralded as the Game of the Year by multiple video game publications. It is considered to be one of the greatest video games of all time and because of this, PC players have been clamoring for a version of their own.

    Red Dead Redemption on PC

Since its release, and following its rise in popularity, Red Dead Redemption has become one of the most requested games to be ported from home consoles to PC so that computer-only players may enjoy the amazing, immersive game that so many other players claim is one of their favorite games ever produced.
