Nick Cave

Nick Cave is best known for being the frontman of the Australian alternative rock band Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. He is often referred to as rock music’s “Prince of Darkness” because of his emotionally charged lyrics that often refer to death, love, religion and violence. His songs have appeared in movies such as Batman Forever, Scream, The X-Files, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1. Cave worked as the composer for the films The Proposition, The Assassination of Jesse James by Coward Robert Ford, and The Road. Cave also wrote the screenplay for The Proposition and Lawless.

Benjamin Paul Ballance-Drew first hit the music scene as a hip-hop artist. In 2006 he released his debut album, Who Needs Actions When You Have Words, to critical-acclaim. His second album, The Defamation of Strickland Banks, quickly became number one on the UK Album charts. Drew has had a successful acting career and has worked on projects such as Adulthood, Harry Brown, 4.3.2.1 and The Sweeney. In 2012 Drew released the film Ill Manors which he wrote and directed.

Dave Grohl

Dave Grohl had his break when he joined the American rock band Nirvana as their drummer. After the death of Kurt Cobain, Grohl founded the Foo Fighters. Grohl serves as the Foo Fighters’ main songwriter, lead singer, and rhythm guitarist. Four of the Foo Fighters albums have won Grammy Awards for Best Rock Album. In 2013 Grohl made his directorial debut with the documentary Sound City.

Rob Zombie

Rob Zombie was one of the founding members of the American heavy metal band White Zombie. He rose to prominence after the band released their third album, La Sexorcisto: Devil Music, Vol. 1, which went on to become certified platinum. In 1998 he released his solo debut album, Hellbilly Deluxe, which received critical acclaim and was commercially successful. Following his achievements as a musician, Zombie began directing, writing, and producing films. His films have generally been within the horror genre and include House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil’s Rejects, and Halloween.
