So, historically, May 5th is the day we commemorate the Mexican Army's (we'll call them the underdogs) victory over the French (we'll call them the protagonists) in the Battle of Puebla. It was a big deal, one that people still celebrate (we'll call that a reason to party and drink) over 150 years later.
It is Cinco De Mayo, so I'm going to hold my own little online celebration by showing you some truly fabulous Mexican art.
