Inquisitive, assertive, and vocal, the California Scrub Jay is easily identified by its bold personality and lovely blue coloring. This lanky song bird can be found through many environments of California including the woodland and chaparral.

Quick paced and sometimes even frantic, these small birds have boundless energy and are constantly on the go. While beautiful, do not underestimate these small birds. They're extremely loyal to their fellow hummingbirds and are not afraid to fight.

Social and family orientated, California Quails are known for being found in "coveys" or small close-knit groups. Past times include foraging for seeds and talking walks with friends.

Often thought of as aggressive killers, these birds are actually anything but. Loyal to their mate and children, these highly intelligent, beautiful birds soar across the sky with an impressive wingspan. They're efficient at flying and feeding and are highly adaptable to other environments.
