The Bizarre Milkshake Guy Has Received Death Threats Because Of His TikToks, But He's Keeping His Head Up

"When it comes to 'drinking' my milkshakes, I would probably end up in the hospital if I did."

On paper, Brian Erickson seems like a normal 23-year-old. He lives in North Dakota, works a 9-to-5 office job, and throws up the peace sign on Instagram.

But his TikTok page is far from the average young adult's social media account. Exhibit A: the pizza milkshake.

Exhibit B: the chips and salsa slushy.

Exhibit C: the garlic bread shake.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg, my friends. Brian's page is filled with bizarre concoctions that elicit a wide range of reactions from his viewers. "I get a lot of negativity," Brian told BuzzFeed. "Sometimes death threats. But I use the negativity as content, or my followers help me with the negative comments."

    Uplifting comments on Brian's TikTok.

"I realized the more you grow, the more hate you receive, which gives you more engagement on social media," he said. Thanks to said engagement, Brian now has over 700,000 followers on TikTok.

In almost all of Brian's videos, he shows himself trying his concoctions at the end, but I was curious as to whether he drinks the whole thing. "When it comes to 'drinking' my milkshakes, I would probably end up in the hospital if I did," he said. "I usually test it and see if it's good or make my friends try them."

The worst drink Brian remembers making was the "Guys Named Kyle Slushy." This contained pizza, Mountain Dew, and a Monster Energy drink.

I, personally, am extremely relieved by his disgust.
