Here's The UK Cover For The "To Kill A Mockingbird" Sequel

Go Set a Watchman will be published on 15 July.

Here is the UK and Commonwealth cover for Harper Lee's second novel:

The novel is set during the mid-1950s – 20 years after the events of To Kill a Mockingbird – and follows Scout as she returns to Maycomb from New York to visit her father, Atticus.

Once home she is forced to grapple with issues both personal and political as she tries to understand both her father's attitude toward society and her own feelings about the place where she was born and spent her childhood.

Watchman was actually written before Mockingbird, and was thought lost until it was discovered by her lawyer last year.

Earlier this month, the state of Alabama investigated allegations of elder abuse against Lee, though they found no evidence of financial fraud.

According to a report in the New York Times, Lee appears to be mentally fit:

One person informed of the substance of the interviews, who did not want to speak for attribution because the inquiry was ongoing, said Ms. Lee appeared capable of understanding questions and provided cogent answers to investigators.

Go Set a Watchman will be available in hardcover and as an e-book on 14 July.
