32 Products If You Skipped Spring Cleaning And Now It's Time For Summer Cleaning

    Spring cleaning is overrated anyways.

    1. A mighty mildew stain remover, because summer is officially here and your outdoor furniture probably needs some sprucing up. You can also spray this on awnings, wood, drywall, tiles, and grout, so your entire outdoor area will look sparkling clean for all your warm weather get-togethers.

Promising review: "I don't often write a review of a product. But this was so impressive, I thought I should let others know. We have a set of vinyl outdoor chairs that were constantly covered with mildew. When we were feeling ambitious, we'd take the time to power wash the chairs, which worked pretty well but was a lot of work. The problem was that a couple of days later, the mildew was back almost as bad a before. With this mildew stain remover, we sprayed the chairs, let them sit a few minutes, and hosed off with a regular garden hose. Easy. And they were cleaner than they ever got using the power washer. When we put the chairs away two months later, they were still clean." —Christine A. Simonson

Get it from Amazon for $12.99+ (also available in two larger sizes).

    2. A no-scrub weekly shower cleaner to stop mold and mildew from forming before they have a chance to take over your entire bathroom this summer. Just spray and walk away — your future self will be SO grateful.

Promising review: "Powerful enough to cut through soap scum on my shower door!! I was amazed...I could see the streaks within minutes as the product collected and ran down the inside of the shower door. I used it again the next day to finish off what was there and then weekly since. I have shiny, pretty doors again without scrubbing once!! Also, the scent is so subtle that it’s hard to detect. Very happy to recommend this to all!" —Greg n Jeni

Get it from Amazon for $19.98.

    3. A bottle of Goo Gone if you're dealing with melted nastiness thanks to the intense summer heat. This magical solution can tackle gum accidents, crayon markings, tough-to-remove stickers, and any stubborn residue left behind from adhesives.

Promising review: "I bought it to remove a piece of chewing gum from a white leather car seat. It’s not recommended for leather, but it did the job wonderfully. Then I used it to clean car door aluminum sill plates — a protective sticker wasn’t taken off in time, so they were covered in adhesive that I couldn’t remove for a few years. After applying Goo Gone liquid and letting it sit for five minutes, I was able to clean it off! Really powerful adhesive remover, glad I discovered it." —ef

    4. A two-pack of reusable mop pads because it's time to say goodbye to the wasteful disposable ones you've been spending way too much money on. These even have helpful Velcro straps so the pad won't go flying off when you're scrubbing your kitchen floor — because it's way too hot right now for that kind of frustration.

Promising review: "The velcro closure alone is worth the purchase. It was really easy to put on (no more pinched fingers) and the hold is very strong. No more having to handle the dirty, drippy sheets to try to reattach them in the middle of cleaning the floor. I noticed that my floors are cleaner because the microfiber absorbs more and doesn't just push the grime around the floor. Also, these can be washed in the washing machine for the next use." —Rosemary P.

Promising review: "I have an old shower/bathtub. I tried name-brand shower cleaners and bleach to try to clean the soap scum off the tiles and tub. I had no luck, and I would cough and get sick because of how strong the smell was. I thought I would try this to save my lungs. I sprayed my entire shower and left it for about 15 minutes. Came back and rinsed off the walls, and they were shiny! I've never had such a clean shower. The smell is amazing and subtle. All I smell is tea tree, and it didn't affect me at all. The price is also a good deal since the bottle is pretty large." —Amber Erwin

Promising review: "My 15-year-old leather sectional hadn't been cleaned or conditioned in three to four years because I couldn't find anything that worked well without causing it to look blotchy. The color was also fading, and I thought it was a goner. After some elbow grease, the sectional looks great! It's now back to its original color without being blotchy.
