The Times Galadriel Made You Come Undone

All my friends with whom I've seen the LOTR and The Hobbit trilogies can attest to my outright and very audible delight when Galadriel is on screen. I present to you all those times that Galadriel made you sigh, pause, quiver, moan, gasp or screech with just an omniscient side-eye, a telepathic conversation or a smile.

When Galadriel narrates over the Middle-earth landscape and history of The One Ring, her flawless voice proves engaging, beautiful, versatile and, most of all, hypnotic.

    When we first see Galadriel

When we first look into Galadriel's eyes

Instantly, we are familiar with her as the voice that narrated the prologue. It's an instant comfort, but it's a strange one, especially as she speaks to them telepathically one by one in a fluid manner, just as in all her mannerisms. And I absolutely lose all my will power to not melt.

When she’s offered the One Ring and shows Frodo what would become of the world if she accepted it. All will love her and DESPAIR. Yes, we will love you, Lady Galadriel.

    Her conversation with Elrond

When Galadriel speaks telepathically to her son-in-law Elrond from a distance, and it’s totally the pivotal point of The Two Towers. That silken voice.

    Galadriel's side conversations

    Circling like a hawk

    This

    The slightest touch

    This side-eye

    And this side-eye

    And this devious side-eye

    This smile

    This laugh

    This gaze

    Her surprises

    The mirror

When she saves Gandalf from the clutches of death

    Rescuing Gandalf

    Her kiss

    That commanding voice

When she taps into her dark power

    When she banishes Sauron

So really any time Galadriel is on screen.
