Here Is The Moment From The "Twin Peaks" Premiere That Broke Everyone

Crying and screaming at the same time.

As you MAY have heard, the iconic TV show Twin Peaks returned last night and the premiere was as amazing, weird, "WTF?!" and perfectly Lynchian as we had all hoped.

However, FAIR WARNING, the following is a pretty big spoiler (for fans), so if you haven't started watching, go no further than Coop giving you the "thumbs-up" here!

Okay, so let's talk about THAT scene from the very first episode ("My log has a message for you"). You know the one — the one that made you scream "OMG!" and then fight back ALL the tears.

And, no, I'm not talking about the appearance of WHATEVER THAT WAS in the glass box or even the creeper sitting in the jail cell, or the fact that Mike/The Arm has evolved into a new treelike form — OMG so much happened...

I'm talking about the VERY UNEXPECTED and completely heartbreaking appearance of our beloved Log Lady.

Up until last night, fans didn't know if the iconic Log Lady (aka Margaret Lanterman) would appear in the new season of Twin Peaks.

However, when the descriptions of the first few episodes were recently released, people were definitely like, "WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?!"

So, you can imagine just how bittersweet it was to actually see Catherine play her famous role ONE MORE TIME.

And the reaction from fans was STRONG:

When Catherine Coulson shows up on #TwinPeaksTheReturn and you remember she passed away in 2015. #TwinPeaks #LogLady

Seeing the Log Lady was equal parts happiness and this: #TwinPeaks

By the way, I totally ugly-cried during The Log Lady's scenes. Catherine Coulson is a god damn treasure, and she is very missed. #TwinPeaks

Is there anything more beautiful / spiritual than watching Hawk and Log Lady converse? #twinpeaks2017 #CatherineCoulson💕......lucky us

    "Good night, Margaret." 😢😢😢 #LogLady #twinpeaks #TwinPeaksPremiere

And then seeing this during the end credits...MAN...

    Love you forever, Margaret.
