PM Says New Innovation Centre to Launch

Malaysia’s Prime Minister Najib Razak says the country is to set up a National Innovation Centre, as part of its drive to establish itself as a knowledge economy. Speaking at a meeting of the National Innovation Council Malaysia the PM said that nanotechnology will become a priority for Malaysia. “Nanotechnology represents a new, advanced technological field at present and for the future. Thus, it is important for Malaysia to not be left behind in the field of nanotechnology and we have decided to give it importance,” he said.
