Puppet Tells Children To Ignore The News
A trio of puppets (who are scared of current events) turn to "Doctor See" (who just happens to be sitting in front of them) for advice about dealing with their fears.. They are then advised by the good Doctor, that the best way to deal with fear is to ignore current events, and pretend they don't exist! (Of course, the black puppet is the "angry" one.. gotta love how negative emotions are always tied to ethnic puppets)
"Tickle The Ivories," With Janis Wolfe
Here is the first few minutes of "Tickle The Ivories," hosted by Janis Wolfe that aired on Dallas cable access in late 1996. This bizarre program featured Janis, playing bible hymns on her piano (no singing at all), smiling at inappropriate moments, and giving worthless spiritual advice.. She only aired one 30 minute episode.. there was a PO box address at the end of the show.. i kindly sent her a letter that was full of praise (insincere) and compliments (smarmy).. she never produced another episode again..
Three Kids Fight, Book Rack Tumbles
A creepy swipe from "Out & About," a creepy educational show from 1982, designed for teachers to show in classrooms, followed by "lesson plans" (a teacher reading from a manual) and then, the teacher hands out a shitty quiz booklet about what the kids "learned" about sociology, friendship, manners, etc.. here, we see three annoying children argue, knock over a boom rack, and upset "Sam The Librarian"
"World Class Frauds" - Lacy Murrell Accuses The World!
Here's a clip from a bizarre cable access show that was produced in Dallas, created by a man named Lacy Murrell.. Lacy went through all the training, booked the studio, and produced a show called "World Class Frauds" that ran for three episodes, and here's a sample of the debut.. Lacy claims that a ton of celebrities have ripped him off, including Spike Lee, Kool Moe Dee, Teddy Riley, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis, Harriet Cole, Chris Kirby, Russell Simmons, etc.. Apparently, they stole his music, his dance moves, his comedy routines, his script ideas, his business models, his five point plans, his potential success, his destiny... and thanks to the power of cable access television, he's getting even!
