2.You Never Know

You really never know. When traveling abroad anything can happen. Friends can be made, love can happen, the opportunity of a lifetime could happen. It's just in a different place, waiting to be found.

3.Food

Even if one isn't a food junky, food is still a great reason to get up and explore. Walking into an authentic Italian restaurant and smelling the spices, tasting the authentic cooking of a true Italian cook. Got hungry from reading that? Then get up and go!

4.Culture

Learning a different culture can be heart awakening and eye opening. Going to a culture where such emphasize is put on family, neighbors, or just stopping and enjoying a game of football with friends. Each country has something unique to offer, even the country next door. Go find the uniqueness in each culture and learn from it.

5.Events

Cliff Diving, Oktoberfest, Tomato Fights, Music Festivals! Every country in the world has plenty of events that would make the trip there worth it. Whether skiing in the Alps or scuba diving in the Caribbeans, anyone can find something worth doing.

6.Traveling

Traveling the world, at this point in time, is a lot simpler and easier than it has been in centuries past. Where at one point in time the only way to travel was by walking or to go by boat-which could take months at a time-we now have incredible ways to travel. Whether someone takes a plane, a train, or walks, traveling is so quick and easy, that instead of taking months to travel across sea, it now only takes a few hours. Possibly a week if a person chooses a cruise line option of vacation. Either way, the ability and ease of traveling now, is a great reason to get up and go.

7.Memories

This is one of the most important parts. The memories made in different countries should be able to beat any excuse. Money, don't want too, or just plain laziness. Having the ability to look back and remember the feeling you had as you sat on a beach and watched a sunset in a foreign country should be enough motivation.

8. Adventure

This is where the memories come from! Going to a foreign place and taking risk that normally would never be taken. It could be bungee jumping or climbing the side of a mountain. When traveling abroad, keeping ones mind open and going to all places that one can, turns the trip into an adventure and grants one the memories that all people want to have.

9. Broaden Horizons

When one travels abroad, being introduced to new items and ideas can't be helped. Being introduced to these things can really change a person. One begins to understand how small the world really is, and just because people are in a different country doesn't mean that the people in that country are so different from ones own neighbors. It can make a person realize how much people of all nations have in common and how much we can learn from one another.
