In almost every country there are events that take place. I'm not talking about a run of the mill car show, but actual events. Events that take up 3-4 days, such as Tomorrowland, La Tomatina, Burning Man, Running with the Bulls and hundreds more.
These events are a one in a lifetime event to go to. Each one is not only a festival but a combination of people coming together and having fun. People that come from different ways of life, believe in different religions or ideology, and are there as one. One unit of people enjoying each other's company and making the experience that much more pleasurable and remember-able. Sadly, many people are not able to attend such events because they lack the funds to go. That is where I believe as one person to another, we can help each other and spread the joy of these events in a different way.
Hundreds if not thousands of people wish to attend these amazing events. I say as fellow human beings and as participants of these events, we help them! It could really be simple. Using websites like kickstarter and others we can donate money to help people get to these events. It would be a very simple process. A person can donate as much money as they would like then, to keep it fair, the list of people wishing to go to this event would have their name randomly drawn. Using said money, the person drawn could have a trip payed for to whichever event they would like. Now, of course many other items would need to be taken care of to take this from an idea to a practice, but I believe it is worth it.
Is there anyone who would be interested in this idea? It would be a great experience in itself to help someone to get to these amazing events, but also to reach out and help others; something we as people should strive for all the time.
