This Teenager’s High School Graduation Photo Was Photobombed By A Moose

"It’s not every day you get to have your grad picture taken with a moose."

Hayley Ryan was getting her high school grad photos taken in Robert's Arm, Newfoundland, when all of a sudden her brother came running out of the woods at full speed.

“There must be a wild animal for Billy to be running!” joked her mother, Lorie Paddock Ryan. But then they looked back and sure enough there was a moose chasing him.

Heyley wanted to move away from the moose, but her mom had a better idea and asked her to stay put for a quick photo. Hayley stood still, smiled, and ended up with this epic only-in-Newfoundland grad shot. "It’s not every day you get to have your grad picture taken with a moose," she said.

"Mom felt a little bad after the whole ordeal was over because we hadn’t really realized the risk that we were taking, seeing that it was a wild animal and they are very unpredictable. But she felt that it was a once in a lifetime picture and that we had to take the opportunity!"

"My brother on the other hand just feels happy that he got away without being trampled," Hayley said.
