Despite being in the beginning stages of infection, you are extremely fast and you like to travel in packs. You only attack when provoked and you could be defeated by virtually any weapon.

Runner

True to your name, you are a much stealthier zombie and prefer to hide in the dark to attack prey from the shadows. Unlike runners, you will attack unprovoked and you are much more ferocious, but still generally easy to beat.

Stalker

You've been infected for a least a year, so most of your senses have been compromised and you use echolocation to hunt your prey. The fungus has given you enhanced strength, so survivors are cautious of you when encountered in close quarters.

Clicker

Our first introduction to you was in the fourth episode, and you proved to be a nasty opponent. The fungus encasing you has formed a heavy armor, but it can be defeated with fire. Survivors beware, the fungus on your exterior can be thrown as spore bombs.

Bloater

Similar to the bloater, you are in extremely advanced stages of infection and are full of dangerous spores. You are more agile, existing near water and grappling slick surfaces. Close combat is not ideal as you can expel large, acidic spore clouds from your body that cause intense burns.

Shambler

The most dangerous infected of all, you are truly a sight (almost unseen). It has taken 20+ years of infection for you to form, and it will take an advanced survivor to beat you. In combat, your infection will break off and the enemy threat will multiply until eradicated.
