The idiotic, insensitive tweet was deleted soon after it was posted.
A spokesman for the Channel emailed Ad Age:
"The tweet in question was not appropriate and was pulled minutes after being posted this morning. The original intent was to celebrate this important date in history, and we regret that we failed to meet that standard.".
One of the their follower's response was:
— "I have a dream that no man, regardless of creed, will ever bogey."
Here's a couple more:
— "I have a dream that one day, all golf balls, white or black, will be treated equally."
— "I have a dream that one day, the gulfs between races will be as narrow as the fairways at Augusta."
Etc.
