2001/2002. Club 18-30 was Club Med, except exponentially sleazier. The best ads draw the reader in, and then keep him/her there. No campaign has ever done that better than these posters which, upon closer review, are completely harmless. Two more executions below. Ad agency: Saatchi & Saatchi, London.
The Economist “white out of red” posters of the last 25 years are legendary amongst ad creatives. I picked out just a few of my favorites. The above 2004 billboard with light sensor did exactly what is portrayed. The magazine’s long-time ad agency is Abbott Mead Vickers/BBDO.
