A commenter on the Modern Mechanix post seems to have knowledge of the situation:
"Lol chickens are naturally cannibalistic. Rose colored glassed would neutralize the color of blood and prevent injured chickens from getting pecked to death by the other chickens."
There you go, pessimists. Turn that frown upside down and all will be for the best, in this, the best of all possible worlds.
