    Top 10 Books To Come Out In Late 2015

    The first half of the year has brought bookworms and book fans sleepless nights as authors release books after books that are great reads. The next half, though, promises even more exciting books to look forward to.

    Below are the top ten books that will leave you counting for eye bags instead of sheep:


    1. The Sword of Summer by Rick Riordan

    This book revolves around the story of Magnus Chase, who, one day found out that not only are the Viking myths true and that a war is about to break involving trolls, giants and monster, but that he is a son of a Norse god. The book tells of how he, Magnus Chase, tried to prevent Ragnarok by looking for an ancient weapon hidden somewhere in one of the Nine Worlds, which was never seen for a thousand years. This book, which is highly suggested and anticipated by a number of avid book readers both young and adult alike, is set to be released on October 2015.


    2. Carry on by Rainbow Rowell

    Following the success of Fangirl, Rowell continues the story in Carry On about the heartaches and triumphs of Simon and Baz. This book is a cross between a love story, a melodrama, a mystery and a ghost story—all written to produce a fine work that will leave you wanting for the next sequel. Set to be released later this year, the book is said to appeal mostly to young adults but is gaining popularity among adult readers, as well.


    3. The Rose Society (The Young Elites) by Marie Lu

    This book exemplifies the effect of betrayal on a person and how it destroys him while he clings to his desire for vengeance. This is what happened to Adelina Amouteru, who was betrayed by all the people surrounding her whom she trusted. Eventually, she grew vengeful and treaded the dark path towards bitterness and revenge. Known as the White Wolf, Adlina ventures on a quest to gather forces and allies in order to strike down the Inquisition Axis—the soldiers who killed Prince Enzo Valenciano, her object of affection. The story twists when Adelina struggles to keep whatever good is in her and preserve her personality while her powers grew as her fear and hatred do.


    4. Shadows of Self (Mistborn) by Grandon Sanderson

    Fans of the Mistborn series will be all grins with this fifth installment on the series set to be released on the fourth quarter of this year. The story builds on the effect of the mixture of technology and magic, the growth of the economy as a result, the threat corruption poses on democracy and the growing influence of religion to society. Thus, the complexity of the details and the unpredictability of the twists in the plot will surely leave you gaping for more.

    5. Illuminae (The Illuminae Files) by Amie Kaufman

    The story centers on the estranged lovers who are forced to work together to solve a deadly plague and survive a homicidal AI after being trapped in supposedly safe evacuating fleet. This first in The Illuminae Files series would sure keep you hooked up to the end of the series.


    6. Ice Like Fire (Snow Like Ashes) by Sara Raasch

    Second to the Snow Like Ashes installment, Ice Like Fire continues the journey of Meira after freeing the Winterians. In this book, Meira's quest is pressed even further after the discovery of Primoria's lost chasm of magic—an artifact of so much power it can even withstand Angra. The threat the artifact poses, though, to the world is so great that Meira is convinced it should be kept hidden and safe.

    7. The Iron Warrior (The Iron Fey: Call of the Forgotten) by Julia Kagawa

    If you have been a fan of The Iron Fey: Call of the Forgotten series, this is the third installment you've been dying to read and its set to be published later this year.     8. The Favorite (The Selection) by Kiera Cass.
