Spicy Jalapeno Deep Fried Pickles: My first encounter with fried pickles was at a restaurant in Dallas, Texas. I have a rule that anytime I see something on a menu and say to myself "there is no way that can taste good", I immediately order it. The fact of the matter is that I am almost always pleasantly surprised and fried pickles were no different.
But of course I couldn't make your standard fried pickle recipe. I had to spice it up as I am apt to do. So in come the jalapenos to the mix. Added to the bread crumbs they transform the recipe and give it that added kick that I felt was missing.
As for a dipping sauce, I recommend my Orange Sriracha Mayonnaise, it is the perfect addition to the already spicy fried pickle recipe. While I like to use dill pickles for this, you can always make your own. Cooking Divine has a great recipe for those as well! Homemade Habanero Pickles Recipe.
These bad boys are also a very quick and easy recipe to make. You can literally have it all done in under 10 minutes, just in time for the big game or as guests arrive at your next get together.
