1. You feel guilty if you only practiced for an hour today.
2. Nothing will ever equal the fear of walking into a lesson completely unprepared
3. Except maybe being singled out in large ensemble rehearsal.
4. You spend half your day creeping in on practice room windows to see if the rooms are open.
5. And you think that spending hours at a time locked in a tiny windowless room, completely cut off from the rest of the world, is entirely normal.
6. Your entire world exists within 2-3 buildings.
7. You know every person in the school within the first month of classes.
8. So you can't escape people you've had awkward encounters with because you will undoubtedly run into them again in the future.
9. Summer doesn't mean finding a job - it means applying to festivals.
10. Classes don't dictate your daily schedule. Rehearsals do.
