Response to This New Lawsuit Against Everest College Explains Why The Government Is Going After For-Profit Schools:
I went to Everest in Washington State for my MA diploma. The classes were pretty good, except for all the kindergarten drama. The value of an MA diploma in the job market was way overstated and career services was a complete and total insult. Every time I called or went in, there was a different staff. Now I am saddled with this huge debt that I cannot repay and an essentially useless diploma.
When I told my ex-wife, she beat me with a cast iron skillet to the point of my needing 31 stitches and repair of a fractured nose. She said that it wasn’t true, but even if it was, it just proved that I was weak.
Once one neighbor did that, he told several others, and I became a community pass-around. I was 9. I’m still trying to forget it, and I still have nightmares. Some of it was pretty violent. The violence was to make sure I understood what happened if I told anyone.
