1. Tundor Wastes from Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando Mass Media / Via youtube.com There is something about this level where you can go into the deep of the Tundor Wastes and fight for your survival against Y.E.T.I.s & Arctic Leviathans as you hunt for moonstones. There is something special in level that makes you want to explore more even though it constantly sends you running away with your tail between legs. 2. Battle of Hoth from Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire LucasArts / Via gamespot.com You get to fight in the Battle of Hoth and kick-ass against imperial snowtroopers. What more can you ask for? CliffHanger from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Infinity Ward / Via callofduty.wikia.com This level had one of the coolest methods for stealth that I have seen in a FPS. As you have to use white out conditions caused by heavy snowfall to move around undetected. Even when your cover gets blown there is plenty of intense action to make you want to play again. Also, the ice climbing scene was very cool even though Soap did have to save you. 6. Heart of Ice from Uncharted 2 Naughty Dog / Via neogaf.com With a game full of great set pieces, Heart of Ice is one the best in Uncharted 2. It's packed with fun as you explore a majestic location that leads to one satisfying twist at the end. 7. Throat of the World from Skyrim Bethesda Game Studios / Via elderscrolls.wikia.com Throat of the World is the tallest peak in all of Skyrim and it leads to one of the best views in any game ever. Plus, you'll encounter lots of different things that want you dead before you can get to the summit. 8. Surface from Goldeneye 64 Rare / Via youtube.com Even though the graphics haven't aged that well, this level has one of the best environments that I have ever seen in a video game level. With a large map to explore and plenty of duels with snipers, this level will stick with you for a long time—in fact, it probably already has. 9. Cool, Cool Mountain from Super Mario 64 Nintendo / Via youtube.com Maybe it's just nostalgia, but this level is still cool. From sliding on ice to rescuing that baby penguin, this is one of those levels that makes you want to come back for more. 10. Ice Cap Zone from Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Sega / Via retrowaretv.com You snowboard down a mountain as Sonic while listening to one of the best tunes from the 16-bit era. Enough said.
