Why You Should Vote For Clara In The KU Elections

This Year Clara Easthill is standing in the Kent Union Elections. Here are eight reasons why you should vote for her!

1. She believes in caps on housing

Because she wants to make sure noone gets charged too much for student accommodation

2. She believes that we need more for our welfare

We love kittens, but we also love more support from our welfare - like welfare helpers!

3. She thinks we should be safer

Noone wants to see this girl on campus. Hopefully you won't anyway, but street lighting and shuttle buses might help you feel safer.

4. She believes that everyone has a right to be included in activites

even this pusheen unicorn has a right to be accepted in societies.

Clara believes that societies that are inclusive should be rewarded

5. She believes that we need to keep an eye on zero tolerance

Basically she's having none of that stuff. The zero tolerance policy is important and needs to be re-evaluated and reinforced.

6. She believes everyone should get an equal chance

Like everyone. Literally.

(But specifically students with kids - we need to release timetables earlier so that parents have a chance to book spaces in nurseries).

7. She believes in cooperating with landlords

So that noone has to live like that!

8. She's kinda fun to hang out with

Or at least she thinks so. Plus she's president of the Medway College committee - so she's got some experience already!
