Which Tyne And Wear Metro Station Are You Actually?

Hands up: you went to private school, didn't you? You're the station everyone envies, but also hates -- because it's impossible to move on carriages bound for Jesmond between 8-9am and 4-5pm.

Jesmond

Refined but temporarily slumming it, you likely live in student housing with your BFFs. People love you because you're a laugh and you're kind - but we'd give anything for you to be better in the weather.

West Jesmond

The life and soul of the party, when you walk into a room everyone knows your name. Some might call you the hub of your social scene. Through you runs everything. Beware: with great power comes great responsibility.

Monument

You're the dark horse of the Metro system; the station people don't see that often, but feel immense fondness for. A little out of the way, you keep yourself to yourself, but make happy memories.

St James

From 9am-5pm you're always in a hurry to get somewhere, frenetic and harried. But on the weekends you like something a little slower, like taking a mainline train through Britain's green and pleasant countryside.

Central Station

The plucky younger sister to Newcastle, you're comfortable in your own skin. You may a bit balshy, but who cares? Finally, people are starting to recognise your personality -- though you're still edgy enough to attract some unsavoury characters.

Gateshead

You're beautiful, in your own unique way. A little haven of greenery out of the city, people come to you to unwind. You're cultured, but awkward, and don't make friends easily. For one thing, you make people tramp out of the station and over a road bridge to cross platforms.

Well look at that: you got Haymarket. This shows you're fancy, refined and up to date with all the mod cons. You're like the iPhone of the Metro system: glamorous, aspirational, but available to all. You're the person everyone wants as your friend because you're loyal and smart, but wear it lightly.

You've a yen to escape, and the means to do it. Situated right at the end of the Metro system, you're the person to whom people come when they need to turn their life around. But you leave people waiting while the driver changes ends.

You're often stereotyped as being rough, downtrodden and deadbeat. People see you in one way, and they're wrong. Don't let the haters get to you: you're vibrant, beautiful, and have boundless possibilities. Go out there and get the world.
