1. Your New Best Friend

Maybe you'll find them at the bar or in the line for the toilet, but it's a sure thing that at some point in the night you'll meet them. They love everything you love and are just as drunk; if only you remembered their name in the morning!

2. The Stoic Bouncer

Watching like a hawk from the corner of the room, every club, bar and pub has one. That lone, mountain of a man who stands silently watching drunks acting stupid, with an expression that says he's both content with his job but also too old for this shit.

3. The Backpacker

The tourist is sure to make an appearance, normally when you're separated from your friends or taking a breather from the dance floor. They're only here for a few days, don't know anybody in town, and oh yeah is it cool if they sleep on your couch?

4. The Creeper

There's always that one guy or gal giving unwanted attention, sticking to the shadows and giving intense eye contact. Keep your eyes down and stay in packs!

5. The Raver

Normally in a world of their own, the Raver can be found to the sidelines of the dance floor pulling moves made for trance or techno. If only the club wasn't playing top forty.

6. That Oldie

The Oldie can really range in age from as young as those in their late twenties. All that matters is that they feel out of place hanging with their barely eighteen year old friends and seem really awkward trying to fit in. Although they're really, really enthusiastic!

Also, they tend to remind you of all the things they did at your age...at the discotheque.

7. The Bro's

The 'Oyce is out and about, hunting in packs and off their faces.

Loud, obnoxious and rough, they're unable to have a good time unless everyone is aware that they exist.

8. The Drunk Girl

Unable to stand or communicate, her body is barely functioning. Her friends can be found attempting to shield her from nearby security but it's only a matter of time. Be warned though, she normally gets a burst of energy when someone suggests going home and heads straight to the d-floor, only to then fall over on other club goers.

NOTE: She's also normally the girl who asked the DJ earlier to play a Taylor Swift song in the middle of their deep house set.

9. The Regular

The most annoying of them all: they skip the line at the door when they greet the bouncer with a forced hug, get free drinks at the bar, and force their way into the DJ's booth. All while being as obnoxious as possible. Their schedule is a different haunt every night, and it's the same week after week.

Their sister's best-friend's cousin owns the club, so it's only right that they get V.I.P. service. It's also necessary for you to know, otherwise what's the point?

10. The Tired Bartender

It's 2 a.m., they're tired, have the slowest line and they're sick of everyone's drunk assess. It doesn't matter how polite you are or how much you smile, everyone gets the same look of annoyance and contempt.

Somehow they're still always surprised when you don't leave a tip though.
