In the episode of The Simpsons called "The Italian Bob" which aired in late 2005, The Simpsons find themselves in Italy where they encounter classic character Sideshow Bob, voice by Kelsey Grammer, who has set himself up as the mayor of a small town.
When Bob introduces the town to the Simpsons from the balcony of his home The Simpsons wave at all of the townspeople, except for Homer! Lisa turns to Homer to see him making ugly facial expressions and rude noises, and she quickly says
"Dad! Don't act like Mussolini!"
to which Homer replies,
"Ouh, I thought I was doing Donald Trump".
Ten years later Donald Trump is making a run at the presidency of the United States of America and recently retweeted a quote from one of Mussolini's speeches.
