You find a stash of missing items piled in a basket/behind a bookshelf/under the bed.

You can't wrap presents while they're around or they stomp all over the paper & bat at the ribbon.

You usually have someone at your feet staring or trying to climb on your lap while you use the bathroom. If by some stroke of luck you have the door closed, you'll see little paws poking underneath.

They bat things off of tables for sport.

You have to deal with poop on a daily basis. You often find non-food items in said poop. Who eats a sticker?? Toddlers and cats. That's who.
