    North Carolina: Protect Our "Objects Of Rememberance" But Mostly The Confederate Ones

    Governor Pat McCrory of North Carolina recently signed a bill that will stop local governments from removing Confederate monuments in wake of recent controversy.

    He has been at the center of much of the recent backwards legislation sweeping through North Carolina.

    On Thursday, he signed the "Cultural History Artifact Management and Patriotism Act," which includes language that blocks the removal of monuments.

    Meaning every Confederate monument in North Carolina is now more protected than ever before.
