10 Reasons Hello Kitty Is Most Definitley A Feline

I don't know if you've heard, but author/anthropologist Christine R. Yano stated this week that Hello Kitty is a human being. A HUMAN BEING! A cartoon little girl to be more specific. Well, I'm not buying this. I will prove that Kitty White is indeed a cat and all will be right with the world again.

1. She is five apples tall.

The average height of an apple is five inches. I'm sorry, but I don't remember the last time I saw someone that was 25 inches tall (infants excluded).

2. Her weight: Three apples.

The average apple weighs 1/3rd of a pound. So if you passed math in high school, you can assume that three apples weigh one pound. Little girls do not normally weigh A SINGLE POUND.

3. She measures her height and weight in apples.

If you haven't been, Build-A-Bear Workshop is a glorious place where you go to, you guessed it, build a bear! Teddy bear to be exact. They have other plush ANIMALS to chose from. Build-A-Bear would never give children the option to build a little girl named Hello Kitty. They would however give children the option to build a plush cat named Hello Kitty.

6. She is 40 years old.

Kitty White was created in 1974, which makes her 40 years old. If she is indeed a "little girl", how the hell did she stay young looking for 40 years?! Lend us your secret anti-aging powers Hello Kitty.

7. Her first name is Kitty.

According to youpet.com, the most popular cat name is…Kitty! The most popular baby girl name in 2014: Emma. Why would her name be Kitty is she's not a cat?!!! This is madness.

8. Up until last week, we all thought she was a cat.

Shock and confusion struck the country as we all heard the news that Hello Kitty was not a cat. If it's confusing or shocking to others that you are a human being, than you probably aren't a human being. Let's be real.
