This is Svante Myrick.

By the way, there's also a waterfall involved.

It looks like this and you can just chill there.

But anyways, the Mayor went swimming there.

Look at that strong, styling stroke.

Don't you wish your mayor was this cool?

Ithaca Mayor Svante Myrick decides that swimming in a regular bathing suit is just too basic, classes his act up with a full suit (but no shoes).
Note the casual air of his stance. He's just so relaxed. Life's too short to be balling on a budget, he's thinking. Far too short.
Hey guys, it's a swim suit. Get it? Because I'm going swimming in a suit. Get it? You guys?
You may have noticed. This is Robert H. Treman State Park in Ithaca, NY. They allow swimming whether or not you're dressed to impress.
Revel in the majesty of nature. Or sunbathe, or whatever. Where else can you casually pull up a chair next to a beautiful waterfall in the middle of an ice-carved gorge? Not many places, probably.
He came in like a wreakiiinnggg balllllllll.
Steezy.
Ithaca, NY, people.
Oh, and by the way, he did it for charity! The jump nabbed more than $1,400 for the local United Way's Hunger and Food Security Fund. Go Svante!
