    Freakishly Cool Postcards From The Past

    Who would have ever thought that postcards could get so creative and almost disturbingly creepy. You might want to leave the light on for these.

    So when you think of postcards from the past, you definitely don't expect to see some intensive surrealist and dark fantasy taking place in front of your very eyes. These postcards entitled "Tall Tale" postcards used to be a thing about a century ago. Photographers WIlliam H. Martin and Alfred Stanley Johnson were experimenting with the wonders of retouching in it's early stages. Do you find these oddly entertaining or just way too disturbing?
