Check Out The Most Extreme City In Spain

No running of the bulls here, just a steep 100 meter drop into a ravine that cuts the city in two.

    This is Ronda.

Ronda is not your average city.

It is situated in an area about 800 meters above sea level.

Ronda sits over 100 meters high on either side of El Tajo Canyon.

The Guadalevín River cuts the city in two.

The New Bridge connects the town and construction began in 1751 and took 42 years to complete.

Earnest Hemingway and Orson Welles were two famous fans (and frequent visitors!) of Ronda.

Hemingway's "For Whom the Bell Tolls" is said to be inspired by Ronda.

This city offers amazing views and fascinating history!
