Are Your Physical Traits Mostly Dominant Or Recessive?

Be honest — what do they look like _before_ you pluck, wax, or thread?

The majority of the traits you chose are recessive, which means you have eight or more of the following: attached earlobes; no widow’s peak; a second toe shorter than the big toe; blonde, red, or grey hair; a cleft chin; short eyelashes; grey, blue, or green eyes; no dimples; straight hair; not being able to roll your tongue; being able to fold your tongue; no freckles; unibrow; being double-jointed; and having an allergic reaction to poison ivy.   
Traits are a physical expression of your genes (a phenotype), so they’re inherited qualities you can actually see. You get two copies of a gene, one from each parent. In order to get a recessive phenotype (like a cleft chin), you need two copies of the recessive gene — if one allele is dominant and the other is recessive, you get a dominant phenotype. So recessive traits tend to be more rare.  
Some traits, like eye color, are polygenic (influenced by multiple two genes) so there’s a ton of variation. Ultimately, the traits you end up with are mostly up to chance and they can be influenced by the environment, which makes everyone unique. So remember: You’re a special snowflake no matter what!
