All the song links just go to YouTube so feel free to click away without worry.by carehwinksCommunity ContributorFacebookPinterestTwitterMailLink 1. High by Sir Sly Via pbs.twimg.com This song may be about doing drugs, but it has a great mood and a really addictive chorus (see what I did there) that you're going to want to chant on repeat until September. 2. Fuqboi by Hey Violet Via altpress.com A wonderful jam for calling out fuqbois and rejecting them in every way, shape and form. (Btw Break My Heart by Hey Violet is also an excellent jam) 3. The Man by The Killers Via i.axs.com Oh man I reaaaaaally love The Killers and I am so excited that they are coming back with a new album after 5 years... This is there newest single, naturally it is great and it had to be on July's playlist. 4. Agnes by Glass Animals Via images.genius.com Glass Animals is amazing and so is everything off of this album. Agnes is a great, vibe-y, melancholy song that is wonderful to listen to at night in the car (and at literally any other time and place). 5. Your Song by Rita Ora Via pbs.twimg.com The first time I heard this song, I didn't really care for it. But now that I have heard it a few times, I am in love, as it is a great, pop love song that isn't too gooey. 6. 679 by Fetty Wap ft. Monty Via assets4.capitalxtra.com Okay, this song is lit and I am not going to even pretend like I don't get down to it whenever and wherever it gets played. Listen to it, love it, get it sewed up. 7. My Body by Young the Giant Via cps-static.rovicorp.com Good, alternative song for your alternative listening needs. 8. Chewing Gum by Nina Nesbitt Via img3.hungertv.com This song sounds very different from all of Nina Nesbitt's old songs and albums, but I really dig it. Like all of her songs, it is clever and well-written. It is a good pop song about casual sex and is very dark and glam. Love it. 9. Don't Wanna Cry by Seventeen Via allkpop.com Alright, so if you're into the K-pop scene you have probably heard this song before. If you haven't, check it out, because it is amazing and the video is so A E S T H E T I C and Seventeen is just amazing. (ProTip: Look at the translated version of the lyrics if you want all the feels) 10. Waste a Moment by Kings of Leon Via kingsofleon-assets.s3.amazonaws.com I love this song and the lyrics and ugh makes me feel so free and summery. Listen to this song, take the time to waste a moment. 11. Altar by Sir Sly Via thekey.xpn.org Yeah I know, I have two Sir Sly songs on here. But guess what, they're both amazing and this is also my playlist, so deal with it. Anyway, this is a breakup song of sorts.... It is a good song. Another one for your alternative needs. 12. Come & Go by Mary English Via themanagement.us This is pure, unadulterated, bubble gum pop and it is so, so fun to jam to. No shame in rocking to this little diddy. 13. Hard to Love by ONE OK ROCK Via images6.fanpop.com Okay it is about time y'all have heard of ONE OK ROCK, if you don't know who they are yet. They are a Japanese rock band that is making it big in America and globally! This is an incredibly sweet song that the lead singer wrote for his father, I recommend that you listen to all of their songs, but start here. 14. She Said by Sundara Karma Via i.guim.co.uk Oh I love this song. I sing it all the time, it gets stuck in my head so often. Cute summer rock song. 15. Want You Back by HAIM Via img.wennermedia.com This might sound crazy, but this song sounds like sunlight feels. Just trust me, you want to listen to this song. 16. Floyd Maroon by The Mellowells Via f4.bcbits.com Small, self-produced indie rock band vibes for everyone. This is a kick ass song and y'all need to know about it. Favorite line: "I'm not into your thoughts, although I am quite attracted to what you are wearing." 17. dRuNK by ZAYN Via marieclaire.com.my I love One Direction just about as much as the next girl (translation: I LOVE 1D). But, out of ZAYN's entire solo album this is by far my favorite and perfect for summer night drives. 18. Die Young by Sylvan Esso Via f4.bcbits.com Mmmm I love this song. It is very sad if you listen closely to the lyrics, but it is a summer jam that I cannot get out of my head. 19. Hypnotize by The Notorious B.I.G. Via pinterest.com This is a classic and anyone who argues with that clearly has never heard this song. Cue, "Biggie biggie biggie, can't you see? Sometimes your words just hypnotize me." 20. Rhythm & Blues by The Head and the Heart Via upload.wikimedia.org Another good driving song, it is so summer, in my opinion. Won't you let me drive you home? 21. Kiwi by Harry Styles Via img.wennermedia.com You thought Zayn was going to be the only 1D boy on this list, didn't you?? Well, you were wrong. I know a lot of people who dislike this song, but for me, it is such a jam. If you and your friends are not screaming the lyrics to the chorus at the top of your lungs this summer, then what's the point? 22. Song from the Sun by Yotto Via upload.wikimedia.org This song is purely EDM, and it is amazing. No lyrics, just smooth moves and sounds. Epic summer song. 23. Anna Sun by WALK THE MOON Via static1.squarespace.com I love this song, and I love this band. That's all.
