After the year that brought us 1D Day, One Direction fans were left to wonder if it really could get any better.
Turns out, things could only go up from 2013. Here's the 1D moments we just can't forget from 2014:
1. Niall's charity soccer match
2. Zayn's hair at the AMA's
3. Liam establishing himself at the king of selfies.
4. Louis becoming BFF's with a chimp named Eli.
5. Harry's hair doing all kinds of things.
6. Each and every group hug
7. When Zayn's Instagram account went public
8. The time 'Steal My Girl' broke the Vevo record for the most views in 24 hours
9. Until we found out it wasn't true
10. The BRIT Awards
when Harry was in the bathroom at the worst time
and barely made it back in time.
11. The 1D FOUR Hangout
12. When they took over NBC with their special from Orlando
and we got such important behind the scenes footage
13. The whole Where We Are Tour, really
14. The time they were perfect angels on Saturday Night Live.
Perfect angel cheerleaders, that is.
Bonus: Harry and Kristen Wiig at the after party
16. And nearly every other time they did anything else either
