Why Should YOU Join CAP Board?

CAP Board, a.k.a the Campus Activities and Programming Board, is Cabrini College's primary event planners on campus and we would love to have you on board! Here are a few reasons why we're the cream of the crop:

1. Our aunt and mom know how to have fun

SEaL Office

Lisa Podolsky, Programming Coordinator for the SEaL office, and Amber LaJeunesse, the Assistant Director for SEaL, guide CAP Board through our year of events! Captain America and the Hamburgler only help out once in a while.

2. We <3 our AP's!

APs, or Assistant Programmers, are students who want to become involved with CAP Board by learning the ropes of what it takes to plan and execute one of our events. Want to become an AP? Stop by the SEaL office for more information!

3. We are the 2013 NACA MAT Outstanding Delegation

This means that within the Mid-Atlantic region, we’re the best of the best!

4. We have a sweet tooth

Aside from the plethora of candy at our events, once in a while you'll see Insomnia Cookies. The first 100 people get to take one for free and it'll be one of the best decisions you make all night. Plus we host a fundraiser with them once a year!

5. We take scavenger hunts seriously. Very seriously.

Find and ride a unicorn? No problem.

6. Halloween. Yeah, we’re all about that.

Our Freak Week dedicates up to two weeks to the holiday every year! Watch out for the zombies by the turf field…

7. Committees have a bond like no other

Your partner and APs become your other half when it is time to plan events

8. We know what it’s like to have our 15 minutes of fame

We brought comedienne Tracey Ashley to campus for a show and then found out she was going to be featured on NBC’s Last Comic Standing! On Stage deserves a standing ovation for hosting this awesome event!

9. Squishy, CAP Board’s mascot, has a personal touch from everyone

You can find Squishy at all of CAP Board's events and every week she'll have something new added to her! This is part of CAP Board's tradition as we pass her around to each other every week based on who did an awesome job the week before.

10. We look good in purple

On-Stage is rocking, quite literally, the purple shirts for this year!

11. We're EPIC

EPIC is a week long event in the spring that hosts the biggest events the campus will see all year. What’s that we see? Is it a bird? A plane? No, it’s a flying AP member!

12. It’s a great way to become involved on campus!
