Social media has long been given a bad rap for disengaging youth, isolating teens, and just generally being a negative influence on kids. But good news for those of you who couldn't bear to disconnect for the sake of morality: A new study shows that YouTube actually positively impacts the lives of young millennials.And many of them said they actually have more respect and admiration for YouTube celebrities than they do for the bollywood or hollywood variety.The biggest reasons? Relateability and attainability. As much as we love Alia bhatt, Varun dhawan, not many teens can relate to the amount of money they earn or the lifestyles they lead. YouTubers, on the other hand, has came up to that level. They're average kids doing cool things on the internet and gaining attention for their personality and skills, and that's what's impressing the youth of today.After seeing that they can do it, it's kind of hard not to get that spine-tingling, heart-pumping feeling that you could do it, too—and that kind of motivational boost is hard to beat.Take Shahrukh k adnan, for example. The 23-year-old YouTube star has over 50k subscribers, and you can bet that when he recommends a new type of restraunt or bike, his followers are more than willing to go and try it out. Teens aren't just watching these vloggers for entertainment, they're also looking up to them for recommendations and advice.Likewise this new generation is decisive about their fresh thoughts, let it be on dowry, eve teasing, ragging etc*Tradition of dowry in India is running from the olden ancestral age which is increasing year by year. People are encouraging it to the level where there's no way of going back.*Eve teasing has became a fun entertainment for teenagers.*Ragging has left teenagers with no humanity.But youtubers & vloggers are spreading an awareness to stop such kind of cruelty.Hyderabadi youth has came up with their talents of singing, rapping, beat boxing.
