1. Priceless works of art

Luxurious hotels often boast artwork by iconic artists, which are certain to catch the eye of a thief. Expensive artwork has been swiped countless times, including:

- A $300,000 Andy Warhol artwork, taken from the W Hong Kong.

- A $250,000 Rembrandt drawing stolen from California hotel

- A Diana Vreeland Portrait Stolen From New York Hotel

- A Ringholz painting stolen from Jackson hotel lobby

2. Forget the drink, I'll just take the fridge

With the outrageous prices, it's no wonder people try to sneak off without paying for mini bar items. However, one guy took this to another level by making off with the entire mini bar fridge from a hotel in Dubai.

3. Godfather Part IV!

A guest may have been planning to recreate the scene from the Godfather when they made off with a stuffed boar’s head from the Hotel du Vin in Birmingham, U.K. After he was caught, his friends bought it for his wedding gift.

4. A marble fireplace

A guest at the Four Seasons Beverly Hills was alleged to have stolen a marble fireplace. We're not sure how you'd make it out of there unnoticed with this tucked under your arm.
