Reply, instead of retweeting
Sometimes when you retweet, the page jumps forward and you lose the link you were on and waste time searching for the lost kink. Another advantage of replying is you get more attention. It's more personal and engaging.
eMail tweets you plan to read later
You can do that by clicking on 'More' hyperlink below a tweet
Sometimes, you can't decide at once if you will reply to a certain tweet or save it for later reference. In my case, I do that so I could later curate the mailed tweets for blog posts.
Following Back and Unfollowing
Decide first if you must follow back. Following back is not obligatory if you made no promise. Following back then unfollowing is not good manner.
Pay by Tweet
You can do that with American Express
Use Twitter as Your Source and News Station
Sometimes I get more references from tweets than from mail subscriptions
Change your Twitter Handles without losing anything
1: Go to your Twitter account settings and change your username. Ex: from @abc to @123
2: Log out of Twitter immediately and create another account (you may use the same email address).
3: Use your old username as the handle for your new Twitter account and set the profile URL to your new one.
In the description, you can say - "This account has moved, please follow @123 instead." Also post a new tweet with the same message to confirm your new handle.
