London -- November 11, 2021 -- BuzzFeed today announces Cate Sevilla as Editor in Chief of HuffPost UK. Sevilla will oversee HuffPost’s entire UK operation comprising lifestyle, entertainment and politics as well as a new shopping team.
Sevilla was previously the Editor in Chief at The Pool, and has also worked in senior roles at Google and BuzzFeed UK. She has bylines in Grazia, The i and many more. She recently released her first book, How To Work Without Losing Your Mind - a guide to shifting your relationship with your career.
This completes a series of new hires for HuffPost in the UK, which also included Kevin Schofield joining as Political Editor and Sophia Sleigh as his deputy as well as a number of new appointments on the audience and lifestyle teams.
