6 Games Shows Every 90s Kid Wanted To Be On

Seriously where is Carmen San Diego?

Being a kid of the 90s was more than just sitting on the couch and watching cartoons on a Saturday morning, it was about sitting on the couch and watching game shows all day too. Television at the time was dominated by game shows like GUTS and Double Dare. Everyone held their breath as contestants tried to make their way through the hidden temple without getting caught by temples guards (they come out of nowhere so fast!) and tried to anticipate when someone was going to get slimed on Figure It Out.

Unfortunately the dream of being on these games shows has been crushed by the fact that they are cancelled and we're just too old. But we can still enjoy sitting on the couch and revisiting these awesome game shows that captured us.

    1. Legends of the Hidden Temple

This was one of the most physical shows as contestants had to make their way through a moat, assembling the silver monkey and running through the temple before time runs out. Find out more about how the show was made and who those temple guards were here.
